1. Full Member: Have a bachelor degree or higher in any of the dental specialties approved by the Society. i.e. Dentists and Dental Auxiliaries with university professional degrees.
2. Associate Member: are those who are working in the same specialization, but did not receive a university degree. e.g. Dental Auxiliaries without university professional degree i.e. Dental Surgeon Assistants/ Dental Hygienists/ Dental Technicians and dental students.

Full Members must be members of the Oman Medical Association bounded by the statute and the laws and regulations governing the work of the association.

Payment of Membership Fees

 The member shall pay the membership fee in full upon being officially notified that he has been accepted as a member prior to 1st June of each year. The annual fee shall be paid in January each year and the membership shall be suspended if the member fails to settle the annual fee for more than two consecutive years until payment of the outstanding amounts.
